Beyond Work
The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. Here's what shapes how I think, compete, and build.
That drawing is my room — and it's a more honest introduction than any résumé. On one side sits a DJ setup with turntables, a mixer, and stacks of vinyl built around house and techno. Next to it is my triathlon training corner: a treadmill, stationary bike, and race tags from Ironman events. I've completed eight full Ironman triathlons (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run). The discipline required for that kind of training — the commitment to process over results, the comfort with discomfort — shapes how I approach every challenge, professional or otherwise.
The PC setup reflects my competitive side. I grew up on competitive games and still play to win — reaching Immortal rank in Dota 2 and Gladiator in World of Warcraft (Seasons 2–5), a title awarded to the top 0.05% of players. Around the room are reminders of another long-time pursuit: trading card games. I've competed in Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and recently Lorcana. There's something about the strategy, systems thinking, and meta-game optimization that translates directly to how I think about markets and product.
The kitchen counter tells the rest: an espresso setup that gets daily use and a growing wine collection (WSET Level 2 certified). These aren't just hobbies — they're a reminder to stay curious, pursue mastery, and never stop learning. I've spent my career building at the edge of gaming, AI, and Web3. This room is where those threads intersect — where I recharge, stay sharp, and remember why building things worth building still excites me.
This same intensity drives my professional career and advisory practice.
